Here we are again to China, to a place i know so well and at the same time i do not know at all.
In a year i travel many times to Guangzhou. If someone came up to me and ask, “Could you tell me what are the places of interest?”. I couldn’t even name one. It sounds funny but this is true.
This trip consider a short trip for me, from 11th Nov – 15th Nov, covering GZ, Wenzhou & Wenling.
Some of the interesting thing during my visit to share.
In our country we usual order our dishes from our MENU BOOK. But in Wenling & Wenzhou or maybe other parts of China, their menu is in a room. With all the dishes display (either by pictures, by display on plate or by raw / life ingredients).
Yes, there are snakes, sui yu & mud skipper. Crabs and frogs are rather normal. Look at the fish and prawns display, nicely layout on ice to keep its freshness. This is to ensure to the customers all their ingredients are fresh and alive.
I dont even know all the ingredients as i cant read Chinese.
Baby squid, intestine, blocks of pig’s skin and fats, some worm and so on.
Do not get me wrong, i do not eat all these stuff. Merely for photo taking purposes.
One of the day we had Italian food. Surprisingly the place was awesome. The place is cosy, warm and woody feel.
The food are delicious. The pumpkin soup is creamy and thick. Pizza skin were so thin and crispy. The breast duck were juice and delicious. Not forgetting my favor Jamon Iberico.
Surprisingly the price is so affordable and cheap.
My breakfast soup full with veggies, saute onions & hash brown. Plus apricots, dragon fruit and honey dew slice and a glass of orange juice.
